This 1976 composition by Norwegian composer Trond Kverno makes a strong connection between the medieval text and harmonic language. Written as a double choir piece (SSA and TBB), it works well in larger spaces antiphonally as well in more traditional choral settings. It is a challenging piece, but has been performed by YCCM larger mixed ensemble, as well as their 18-20 voiced Chamber Singers without a conductor.
