Of all the music I have selected for my men’s choirs, no piece has created as big a stir as this! Crocker has arranged this familiar tune for a cappella TBB (and occassional TTBB) choir, making it quite accessible to junior high and high school men’s choirs. The first verse is sung in a sturdy unison, providing a solid statement of the familiar tune. Variations are added to each verse, providing a nice contrast. The piece ends in four parts, proclaiming the joy in reaching the Promised Land!
