House of Gold is quite an easy octavo that can be learned quickly. The musical character of the piece is quite fun and light-hearted.

This octavo provides a great opportunity to transfer sight-singing skills to the pop a cappella genre. The A section is extremely diatonic, and with the exception of chromatic touches in a few measures of the B section, would be productive to reinforce sight-singing concepts in the pop genre.
