This a capella song with a repetitious Swahili text is energetic and uplifting! The text translation is basically a song of welcome with a rough paraphrase as “hello, visitors are welcome to Kenya, don’t worry, it is a land of peace.” The three-part writing is very accessible for upper elementary/middle school singers. A couple of jamming djembes added to the singing will make this arrangement a concert favorite!
