Energetic, rhythmic, easy to learn and fun to sing. Musical concepts to be practiced: 4/4, chorus/verse form (verse 3 is unaccompanied; the chorus and verse 4 are unison), various eighth-note and sixteenth-note rhythms, expressive elements, dynamics, articulation, accents, diction—really a lot to teach in the four pages of the score. This is a great song to add movement to, and the clapping part is notated in the score. The piano accompaniment requires a skilled player since the accompanied verses all have a unique part.
