Non Nobis Domine begins with a melody written by Patrick Doyle for the Kenneth Branagh film Henry V. Nancy Grundahl has created five counter melodies that are added one by one, so that you can choose some or all of them in your performance. The piano part builds texture as the piece unfolds, in addition to the voices. This piece works well as a processional or in the aisles, surrounding the audience. It is most powerful performed as a massed choir selection and can be sung by any type of choir, youth to adult.
