This piece has a beautiful melody that is well supported and enhanced by the alto part. An effective performance would require a bit more experienced choir since the phrases are longer and some of the intervals are challenging. The accompaniment is simple yet supports the voices very well without doubling them. A great deal of musicality can be taught with this lovely piece.
