Emily Feld’s The Peace of Wild Things is a thoughtful and challenging a cappella setting of Wendell Berry’s well-loved poem. Lyrical and often homophonic, this score is performable by advanced choirs of high school to adult age ranges. The voice parts are most frequently presented in four parts, with only a few moments of five and six part harmonies.
